With a focus on wellness and staying true to the roots of the Wisconsin Dells, Sundara Inn & Spa pursued a new, $9 million, 33,000 SF expansion project that welcomed guests in Spring 2018. Water Technology, Inc. (WTI) worked collaboratively with the local, Wisconsin Dells-based architect to provide an aquatic design that would fit the ownership’s vision. This relaxing oasis features a year-round indoor/outdoor pool and swim-up bar with underwater seating, leisure pools and spa pools for guests. The expansion features an outdoor and indoor spa escape that is surrounded in rock features that resemble the weathered rock cliffs of the Wisconsin River. COST of Wisconsin was contracted to provide highly detailed glass fiber-reinforced rockwork panels (GFRC) that would replicate the unique look in the region. Sundara Spa was ranked #9 Best Destination Spa in the US and #2 Best Resort Hotel in the Midwest in Travel + Leisure magazine as voted by readers. WTI was proud to be part of the design team that delivered this immersive spa environment.
