California’s Great America has a new attraction---one of their most transformative ones yet. Shores Bay Waterpark, located inside the amusement park is truly an iconic water destination with 15-acres of family fun, adventure, waves, and thrills. Water Technology, Inc. (WTI) worked closely with the architect of record to design a waterpark that would become the embodiment of summer. WTI provided aquatic planning, design, and engineering.

The Shores Bay Waterpark has something for everyone:

• Breakers Bay - A ginormous wave pool holding half-million gallons of water.
• Coastal Cruz - A multi-person raft ride down from 54 feet in the sky with endless twists and turns.
• Mission Falls - First of its kind in the West Coast, this tube slide will have you plunging down a dark chute and right back up a nearly vertical wall creating intense and invigorating thrills.
• NorCol Wipeout - Fully enclosed, two-person waterslide that allows users to nearly wipe out on the ‘Pacific Ocean Waves’ but also search for the next big wave to conquer!
• Otter Trotter - Water play area specifically designed for toddlers. Several interactive water features are sure to keep them splashing for hours.
• Pacific Surge - Seven stories high waterslide complex featuring six waterslides and three completely different extreme water slide experiences.
• Reef Racer - An adrenaline-pumping enclosed tube slide that has a deep 360-degree with several twists and turns to follow and a deep plunge to the bottom.
• Rushin’ River - An entertaining but relaxing ride down the area’s largest lazy river.
• Tide Pool - A perfect family-friendly 150,000 gallon heated water feature to wade, splash, and slide in the shallow waters. Seven tot slides are included to provide thrilling experiences for the little ones too!

A truly unique and inviting destination with 18 attractions, twice the size of its predecessor. The new waterpark creates entertainment like no other.
