The state-of-the-art Woodrow Wilson Aquatic Center is comprised of a 25-yard-by-50-meter competition pool, a leisure pool and an adult whirlpool. The aquatic center was a joint venture between the District of Columbia Department of Parks and Recreation and the D.C. School District; it's designed to be a multi-generational facility, keeping in mind users of all ages and swimming abilities.

District residents have access to the aquatic center at no cost, while non-D.C. residents can use the facility for a small fee.
