AquaNick Wins 2022 Leading Edge Award

We are excited to announce that @Karisma Hotels & Resort’s AquaNick Waterpark in Riviera Maya, Mexico is the winner of the 2022 World Waterpark Association Leading Edge Award. The sprawling six-acre Nickelodeon™ themed resort waterpark is home to over 500 meters of adventure and lazy rivers, surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

Perhaps the most exciting aspect of the Aqua Nick resort waterpark is the vibrant, high-quality theming seen throughout. Water Technology, Inc., in conjunction with Whitewater, and WOW Company International created thrilling features, while WTI worked with the client, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, for the overall design and implementation of this park’s unique intellectual property that came alive in the theme.

This is one of the largest waterparks to open in Mexico and it exemplifies the most authentic Nickelodeon experience. The five-star, all-inclusive experience was designed with families in mind, hosting truly impactful offerings that include 2 rivers, activity pool, and 21 slides dedicated to creating memories to last a lifetime.

Thank you to our partners,
WhiteWater, WOW Company International, Life Floor, Poolside Adventures™ , Neptune Benson, and BECS Technology
