Teamed with PGAL Houston, WTI designed this new family aquatic center to appeal to users of all age groups and swimming abilities, which has proven a success with skyrocketing multi-generational attendance. In addition to the lap lanes and diving area, the leisure pool features zero depth entry, interactive play features, a drop slide, water walk and a climbing wall.

Texas Department of Health pool codes and applicable industry standards were used in the design of the structural and mechanical systems. The mechanical and filtration systems are designed to provide pristine water quality while conserving water and energy use over traditional systems. The leisure pool utilizes a Regenerative Media (RM) filter system, which reduces water consumption drastically. Years later, this facility has continued to be a local success, and WTI is involved in designing and developing updates for the 10th anniversary of the Colonial Park Family Aquatic Center.
