WTI was hired by a renowned local architect to review the existing pool equipment. In addition to determining reuse and adaptability, WTI conducted a programming presentation to help define the aquatic goals and objectives for the Houston-area community.

WTI developed a concept design that replaced an obsolete pool with one that generated more recreation appeal. WTI did the detailed design and construction administration for the new pool that included six lap lanes, a separated diving area with a drop slide and a shallow water teaching area that slopes from three to four feet. There is also a small, zero depth entry pool that measures a foot and a half at the deep end and features a small spraypad with geysers for the little ones. Both are deck-level pools with lots of seating area, social space, shade structures and fans to bring people to the pool and keep them comfortable enough to stay there all day.
